This is part of a body of work I’ve been working on about the accidental photograph and sometimes there can be beauty behind the abstraction.
I have looked very much at the work of Walead Beshty and Beshty’s experimentation with the accidental photograph.
This particular photo is one of my favourites.

I’ve been working really hard lately on getting my Art Assessment finished for Uni so I thought I should share some of my art work.
I have still been working very much in photography. This piece here is intended to be a photograph and not a painting.
There’s pieces are printed on a large scale A1 prints.

I like the idea that there are people out there who aren’t just vandals
Some of my neighbours were gritting the roads and the paths for everyone.
(I did do it the night before too =] )

Whilst trying a bit of street photography in Birmingham I came across this man. He asked me if I was a photographer and was asking me about what tpe of work I did.
He was in town collecting for disabled children. So I asked him If I gave him some money would he let me take his photo and he was very happy to!
Something tells me that’s he’s done this before! I just think he’s got a really peaceful feeling about him!

This was my favourite of all the animals at Dudley Zoo. I loved how they were all sitting in groups. Apparently they sit in the Lotus position to sun bath in the morning and they will do this as a group activity. I thought it would be brilliant to edit in some cups of tea but I couldn’t ruin the cuteness.
